Below is a listing of the basic curriculum that will likely be practiced in each class and each belt exam that you take. These basic moves are the foundation of every shift, exercise, kata and sparring technique you will learn. It is very important that you learn these moves correctly. It is similar to learning to read. When learning to read you must learn the entire alphabet and how the letters sound and work together. If you do not learn it properly you will not be able to read correctly. It is the same with these basic techniques. If you do not learn them correctly, there will be flaws in your sparring and kata later on.
